Welcome to Haute Wheels Houston!
Trucks are Rollin'
Mark your calendars and start your engines! Over 34 of the most skilled chefs in Houston will be rolling on to the Houston Community College Southwest Campus on May 12 and 13, 2012 for "Haute Wheels Houston - THE Food Truck Festival." This is not your typical food truck festival; this event will offer cutting-edge culinary flavors from chefs who want to take your palette on a journey you won't soon forget. Combine gourmet food with fine wines, ice-cold beer, a Vendor Village packed with artisans, and live music over the course of two-days, and you've got an unbelievable festival of haute cuisine you don’t want to miss.
And you can "hit the streets" with whole family because there will be activities for the whole family. If that’s not enough (and why wouldn’t it be?) Food and Vine Time Productions, the driving force behind this festival, has arranged for this event to benefit the Houston Community College Foundation. Tickets for "Haute Wheels Houston" are limited. "Get trucking'" and purchase your tickets today because you don't want this festival to roll on without you!
Only in Houston!
Food and Vine Time Productions, producers of one of the top 10 destination culinary wine events in the US and a host of other city-wide culinary events, is proud to bring "Haute Wheels, THE Food Truck Festival" to Houston. Meet the author of Houston's Top 100 Food Trucks
Paul Galvani, author of Houston's Top 100 Food Trucks, coming out July 2012, will be on hand both days of Haute Wheels to share
his love of this burgeoning business. Paul recently taught a class on food truck marketing and is an adjunct professor of the
Marketing Department of the Bauer School of Business at the University of Houston where he teaches today.
He began writing about food and restaurants in 1997 for the Houston Press, Paper City Magazine, as well as Fort Bend Lifestyle Magazine. He currently writes about food for the Houston Chronicle. Paul was born in London into an Italian family, the many branches of which were all in the restaurant business. He grew up in and was involved in all aspects of the business and owes his love of food to his mother and his father, both of whom were great cooks.
An intrepid foodie, there is nothing Paul enjoys more than discovering a hole-in-the-wall place that serves remarkable food.Meet the Author of Houston Beer: A Heady History of Brewing in the Bayou City
